My Journey
After seeing Star Wars at the tender age of six, I proclaimed I wanted to be an astronaut. As it turns out, I get horrible motion sickness so after some deep reflecting (as much as a six year old could muster), I declared I wanted to be a writer. Naturally, I grew up, went to college and studied Social Work. (Yeah. I don't know what I was thinking either.) I met some incredible people and had some fascinating experiences during my social work career but all good things must come to an end...especially to make way for greater things like pursuing my writing dreams.
My Personal Life
I am the proud mom of three adult children who have been replaced by two adorable dogs. I'm an Arizona native who complains every summer that I'm going to move away from the heat but never does. I love movies, music, theatre, traveling, chocolate, occasional naps, the ocean (despite what my face says in this picture <---), and puppies. Oh, and I have some really cute grand kids.
